2014 Shearing Day at Jenny Jump Farm – April 19

It’s been a while since I’ve posted anything but we’re still kicking. It’s been a long cold and snowy winter. There are signs of spring and the snow is finally melting.

Best of all we have confirmed April 19 for our shearing day with my favorite shearer, Tom Horton.  It’s later this year but I’m sure the sheep were glad we didn’t take their fleeces away with the cold weather.

Fleeces will be available for sale at $12 per pound. If you want to come watch or even lend a hand please let me know. We can always use the help. Shearing starts around 9 AM.

Hope to see you in April!
