Jenny Jump Farm is busy getting ready for Maryland Sheep & Wool Festival on May 7 & 8 in West Friendship, MD. The weather has made it difficult to skirt fleeces outside. Rain is forecast for the next week on the East coast. Let’s hope for some sunshine soon. Meanwhile, I am weighing out the roving (washed and carded wool) in 8 oz bags and spinning my Jacob sheep wool into yarn. Can’t wait to see all my sheep and fiber friends in Maryland. If you plan to attend please stop by the Jacob Sheep Conservancy booth in Barn 4 to say hello.
Don’t miss a post!
